Hypurin® Porcine and Bovine Insulin Range
Wockhardt UK (previously CP Pharmaceuticals) has been committed to the provision of Hypurin® porcine and bovine insulin for many years, recognising the medical needs and preferences of patients with diabetes.
Many diabetic patients continue to choose a porcine or bovine derived insulin. The Department of Health fully accepts that some people are better suited to these insulin types and that they should continue to be made available.
At Wockhardt UK we firmly believe that maintaining freedom of choice for patients with diabetes is important and we are fully committed to continue the supply of our Hypurin® porcine and bovine insulin ranges for the foreseeable future.
Hypurin® Porcine is available as a short acting insulin (Neutral), intermediate acting insulin (Isophane) and as a 30/70 pre-mixed insulin. Hypurin® Bovine is available as a short acting insulin (Neutral), medium acting insulin (Isophane) and as two long acting insulins (Lente & PZI). Hypurin® insulin is available in 10ml vials and 3ml cartridges (compatible with the Owen Mumford Autopen Classic which is obtainable on prescription).
Wockhardt UK – you can reassure your patients their supply of Hypurin® porcine and bovine insulin remains in safe hands.
