The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has issued a medicine supply notification stating that Dalivit oral drops are currently out of stock until further notice.

In response, DHSC has advised that Abidec multivitamin drops remain available and can be used to support increased demand during the disruption.
Pharmacy teams have been sent a copy of the notification via their NHS email accounts, which includes details of the required actions and relevant clinical guidance.

Supply information, including updates on resupply timelines, is available through the Medicines Supply Tool on the Specialist Pharmacy Service (SPS) website, with access requiring an NHS email account and login credentials.
In addition, newly identified shortages not yet listed via SPS can be reported using the shortage reporting form on the Community Pharmacy England website.

No further information has been issued on the expected resupply date for Dalivit oral drops.
