The declaration window for the Pharmacy Quality Scheme (PQS) 2025/26 is now open until 11:59pm on Friday 27 February.
Pharmacy owners can make a claim for a PQS payment through the Manage Your Service (MYS) portal up to the closing date.
They must have evidence to demonstrate that they have met the gateway criterion and the domains claimed by 31 March 2026. However, the declaration must be submitted by 27 February 2026 based on the domains the pharmacy intends to meet.
The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) has published the questions that are included in the 2025/26 PQS declaration so pharmacy owners can view these ahead of making their declaration.
The questions are available on the NHSBSA PQS hub page.
The PQS forms part of the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF). It is designed to reward community pharmacies for delivering quality criteria that support clinical effectiveness, patient safety and patient experience.
Tuesday (3 February 2026) was the final day for contractors participating in the 2025/26 PQS to begin the PQS Antimicrobial Stewardship – Pharmacy First consultations – Clinical Audit.
Anonymised data captured during the audit should be submitted using the online data collection tool by 31 March 2026.
