The Pharmacist’s news team is looking to uncover the current state of play across the profession, both within community pharmacy and general practice. But we need your help.
We have launched a short survey in the hope of collecting much-needed insight on workload, recruitment, training, medicines shortages, pharmacy closures and more.
Importantly, we want to better understand the real impact of the additional roles reimbursement scheme (ARRS) – where pharmacists can be employed to work at GP practice through a national subsidised scheme.
We are keen to hear from both sides. Have pharmacists moved from community pharmacies into practices? Is this contributing to further pressures? We’d like to hear more about the other issues you are facing, and your on-the-ground experiences.
And what is the experience of practice pharmacists? What are your responsibilities and how has this changed over the last year? And what are the challenges you are facing?
If you are a community pharmacist, practice pharmacist or a pharmacy contractor or owner in the UK, we would be very grateful if you could spend around 10 minutes completing our survey.
Your answers will be used to inform our news stories and will help ensure we are reporting on the issues that matter to you.
We want to use these results and findings to challenge those in positions of power and make the case for change.
We will not quote you without your explicit consent, either by your name or anonymously.
If you leave your email address, you will also be put into a draw for £100 worth of vouchers of your choice.
The survey closes at 9am on Friday 18 October.
